No Fixed Route

The band found common ground in wanting to create music under the extreme metal banner. From the start, the mantra has been to follow no fixed sonic route.

Members can bring anything to the table, and the band will bend it into Blodtørst. That freedom runs through the debut album Ferd, the story-led Dalmunr, and the coming third album Nidviser.

The sound favors organic violence over studio polish: bleak and cold aggression balanced against the band's more primal brutality.

New Album Out September 18, 2026

After Dalmunr, Blodtørst turns toward a wider metal spectrum. Nidviser keeps the storytelling focus, but shifts from one fictional concept into twelve separate narratives tied together by historical punishment and death.

The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered in Grimsland Studios in Trondheim and will be released independently by the band.
